I learned more about typography from this video than I did from reading some books. I still have som much to learn but when you have to know a lot about a lot of topics it can be hard to become an expert at everyone.
What a great video! I have been watching a lot of Loonie Tunes again lately with my son. Ya ya, I know they are violent and I probably should not let my son watch them, but we get a kick out of watching them together. Besides I watched Loonie Tunes all the time as a kid and I turned out alright (I think). This cartoon reminded me of Loonie Tunes. The slapstick type of humour had me laughing here this evening.
I think we all need shoes like these. What a great little animated short. I laughed out loud when the music started and she starts dancing...but I am giving to much away. Watch the video.
Always be careful what you wish for, you just might end up getting it. I keep wishing for a million dollars, I don't think I would regret getting it, not until tax time anyways. This little penguin learns the same lesson.
My son would really like this video. The first time I watched it I had to sound off and I just did not get it, so make sure your sound is turned on otherwise you will miss the best part. Gave me a good laugh today, just what I needed.
It is official summer is here. I can tell because it is not only warm and sunny outside, but it is also very difficult to get any work actually done. It is also not as easy to post to when you want to go and have fun at the beach and play with the kids.
I am sure you are not interested in all the reasons why I have not posted here for several days, so on with a new video. A great animation once again from the Vancouver Film School. I laughed out load at this one. You have to watch until the end or you might miss the best part.
This just made me laugh. Reminded me of the old Looney Tunes cartoons for some reason. Perhaps it is the big cannon that is rolled out, but I don't want to give to much away you need to watch the video.
Another great animation from the Vancouver Film School. Love makes the world go round and this animation does a great job of showing how love can change a life.
This is a great video from the Vancouver Film School. It reminds me of the National Film Board animated shorts that I remember seeing as a kid in school.
What a great video. There is nothing like a playground to help bring out your youth. This is something I have been discovering having my own children and taking them to the local parks. The playgrounds just make you feel young.
There is nothing like a nice relaxing day in the park, or at least that is what you might think. This poor guy has an unlucky day, with an approaching rain storm and an umbrella that seems to have a mind of its own.
Another very well done video from a Vancouver Film School graduate.
Everyone loves a love story. I was thinking about Valentine's day coming up, and what to do for my loving wife. I will probably get her a single red rose, since I know she likes them but she does not like the expense of a whole dozen. Roses mean something special to the ones we love and care about, and the lead character in this video knows that. A very touching love story with and open ending. Do they get together in the end?
The Vancouver Film School creates some very interesting videos. This animated short once again shows the talent the comes from the school. A very well done video with a character in a situation that most of us can relate to. I know I have always had problems with camera timers. Thank goodness for digital cameras now.
I have to say this is probably how I felt trying to solve my Rubic cube. I solved the thing alright, a screw driver and a few screws later and the things was right back to the way it was suppose to be. Another great short film from the Vancouver Film School though. They create some fantastic work.
This is another very good animation from the Vancouver Film School. The animation is very well done and the story is well written, even if there are no words. The lead character finds a robot dog in the trash and unlike the robot dogs previous owner has the courage to do something for the dog. The video reminded me that the world is not full of just what we hear on the news every night. Hope we see more from this film maker Justin Lewis.
The Vancouver Film School has a lot of potential coming out of it these days. Many of the good animated shorts I come across are projects from students at the Vancouver Film School. This one has a ferret that does a pretty good job of flying. I only wish the video was a little longer, it seems to end abruptly. Hope to see some more from the students at the Vancouver Film School.
