Apparently Sprint in the United States has a new commercial out, and the only reason I am posting it is because it has a little snippet about Twitter in it and it made me laugh. If the stats in the ad hold true 26% of you have no idea what Twitter is. With that in mind you need to watch the second video.
This is a really funny commercial! It had me laughing out loud. It might even be funnier than the Dairy Queen commercial that always makes me laugh. My son made me play it again and again, which I actually did not mind doing. We were both laughing like crazy. Nothing like a squirrel that can save the day.
A new Mac vs PC ad that is running on the Internet. It is very creative, and really funny. I have heard lots of horror stories about Vista, and don't recommend it to anyone. If possible people should buy XP still, or just install more ram and install Ubuntu Linux and say goodbye to Windows forever! Of course you could always buy a Mac, but they are expensive.
This is a very effective advertising campaign. I find it interesting that it is being run by a company that makes beauty products. Kind of goes against the whole thing that they are trying to sell. Anyways, makes me think about what I tell my daughter now so she can resist all of those ads telling her that she is not beautiful
This has to be the best Visa commercial I have ever seen, probably one of the longest as well. I think my favourite is the table tennis part. Love how he finishes off the game.
Dairy Queen has been coming out with some funny ads the last few years. This is one of my favourites. There is something about the look on the guys face that just makes me laugh when I see it.
The Apple vs. PC ads keep getting spoofed and they seem to get funnier with every new version that comes out. I thought it was funny that the Mac does not know what work is. Do people who use Macs actually work? Or maybe they call it iWork.
I found these thanks to Shoemoney posting part 2 on his blog.
Being the computer geek that I am I find these ads funny. Nothing like taking an ad campaign and twisting it around. If you want to try a Linux distro though give Ubuntu a try. Pretty much works right out of the box with most hardware. Very happy with it.
The geek in me just can't resist watching this old commercial for the Commodore 64. I used to spend so many hours playing games at friends houses on them. Just think today a graphing calculator has more ram and power than this machine. They sure were fun. Nothing like the games theses days though. I wonder if anyone has ever hooked up their old Commodore to a huge plasma or LCD television? I'll have to try searching for that on Google and see what I can find.
This is how I feel some days. Especially when brand new computers that are suppose to work don't! And WHY don't they work? Who knows....some bad crappy driver, or some lousy piece of hardware or maybe just a badly programmed piece of software. Anyways, a funny video, although I don't support the ad portion at the end of the video.
This is a commercial but it is a fun commercial, if you like stop motion animation and food. Two things I happen to like. It is a pretty creative commercial, beats the Subway commercials with that Jared guy in my opinion.
If only we could go back in time and stop Windows from happening. We would probably all be better off. Then, maybe Apple would have become more popular and they would never have done anything innovative, and we would be stuck with Apple OS 7 or something worse.
Ok I have no clue what the title means, or what this video is advertising, but to be honest I don't really care. I just thought the video was cool and wanted to post it.
In light of recent news about how hard it is to cancel an AOL account, I thought this video was interesting. Nothing like doing some fear mongering to get new clients and to help keep the old ones. This is almost as bad as the RIAA and the MPAA suing their own customers. Before you know it AOL will sue one of its customers for trying to cancel their account. Just seems like bad business to me.
I don't spend a lot of time on Digg.com, but once in awhile I check in there to see what is interesting, and now that they have a videos section I find it more interesting. Today, I came across this post about a public service advertisement that featured the cantina from Star Wars. Thought it was pretty funny so I wanted to post it.
I have never seen this ad, but it is pretty funny. Only us Canadians would take a 24 pack up to the moon! It is really to bad that Molson stopped making the I am Canadian ads.
This is a pretty funny commercial. I have seen it on Google Video for a while but finally watched it tonight. What would I do if I saw that while driving along the highway...hmmmm.
I needed a muppet fix here tonight. I found this Kermit the Frog Target commercial with Kermit playing the banjo. I did not know Kermit could play the banjo, did you? He is a pretty talented muppet.
Being a Canadian, it is always interesting to see what brings out some Canadian patriotism, since we often define ourselves by what we are not. We are not Americans but who are we as Canadians? It it interesting that somehow a beer company was able to create a commercial that was able to help Canadians define who they are. Not to mention it is just a funny ad and I wanted to post it.
This is a cool Volkswagen Golf GTI commercial with a new twist on Singing in the Rain. It really gets jazzed up. From what I read this version of the song is actually done by Mint Royale and they have several other songs that you can listen to on their website. They also have some other videos posted on their website that includes another video for Singing in the Rain that is not the commercial. I only wish I could find it on Google Video to post because it is very cool. Do go and check out their website though and watch the Singing in the Rain video they have there.
Clowns like you have never seen them before. You can see Matrix and Jackie Chan style moves in the ad. This is actually a commercial for the yellow pages. Pretty funny stuff!
This is actually a commercial for Degree deodorant, but it is just fun to watch. Imagine going through all this everyday to get to work. Well maybe some of you do, I don't know. Life sure would be interesting if you caught busses and cabs like they do in the ad.
This is a commercial for Citi Bank, but it looks to me like a live version of Backkom's Treadmill video. I don't usually post videos with people getting hurt, but since this is a commercial it should be a stuntman taking the blows.
I have a thing for old home consoles. Probably me just trying to relive my childhood or something. I never had an Atari, had an Intellivision instead, but would often play Atari games over at friends houses. Here in a television commercial for the one of the classic Atari video games, "Yars Revenge".
This Honda commercial is a great example of a Rube Goldberg machine. It has lots of steps to push the button to close door on the Honda Accord. A very well done example. Because it is a commercial though one has to wonder how many times they did it and edited it to make it look just right.
The good old days of computers. Any one still have one and use it for something? I still have a 386 that runs, I used to play the old Wing Commander games on it in DOS, when I had time for video games that is.
Here is a new Backkom bear video that I have never seen. It looks like it is a commercial for something, but I don't know what. Funny stuff, Backkom videos just make me laugh.
I have a little bit of a Saskatchewan theme going here today. Here is an IBM ThinkPad commercial talking about how a stolen ThinkPad survived a Saskatchewan winter. That is pretty amazing actually, considering the cold and snow that we get.
I try not to post commercials, but this one is just to funny. A good warning to all those little yellow birds that sit and watch tennis games. This commercial really would stand on it own though as an animated short, all you would have to do is take the last few seconds off that advertises the cell company.
